31st March 2025 Hiking - Walking: Around Felixstowe Wind Direction: E Wind Stength: Light winds Surf / Sea State: smooth Air Temperature: Sea Temperature: Weather: sunny Max Speed: Distance Covered: 2.77 miles (Nautical Miles - unless stated otherwise) Monday 31st March - walk *** – Felixstowe prom including a picnic on the beach– sunny. The lovely sunny weather continues so I had a quick ride round Felixstowe to take a few weather pics before coming home for breakfast and do my exercises in the back garden:) I then pack a picnic and as it’s getting on a little we decide just to walk down to the prom at the end of our road and for a change we turned right and walked to the end of the prom for a quiet lunch on the beach. It was lovely and sunny with a very light onshore breeze, the egg sandwiches were delicious as usual. We returned home the same way walking nearly 3 miles, thee might be enough wind tomorrow for a windsurf foil ? I dove down to Felixstowe Ferry at 7.15 to catch the sunset and lovely it was too:) Photo Album here |
